Our Mission:

The Belmont Mansion Association’s mission is to restore, preserve, interpret, and stimulate appreciation for the Belmont Mansion, a unique cultural landmark and embodiment of the antebellum era, through commitment to historical authenticity and dedication to the integrity of Adelicia Acklen and her family. Our vision is to inspire individuals to emulate and uphold Adelicia Acklen’s passion for and devotion to the arts, education, and family through an unending desire to learn, travel, and embrace new and different ways of life, as well as by fostering that desire in others.

The Belmont Mansion Association achieves its mission through public education, tours, lectures, seminars and publications, and a web page, as well as through musical, artistic, and nuptial events and gatherings.

The Belmont Mansion Association maintains its historic site and solid financial standing as a non-profit organization through support from its members, friends, and Belmont University, offering in exchange the opportunity to participate in and perpetuate the preservation of a unique and important contribution to our American history and heritage.
